　　（转自IMDB）Pierre is a shy man whose sole focus in life is studying astrology in solitude, which is often difficult since he still lives at and studies in his parent's house. His parent's would rather he date and get married. He takes on this task with verve. Not knowing how to approach women in a romantic way, he watches how other men operate and tries to emulate them, most often without success. He ends up attracting the one woman he doesn't really want, a fun loving woman named Laurence who lives next door, but he becomes obsessed with Stella, a singer he sees on television. He believes her love song is being sung directly to him. As Pierre tries to get away from Laurence while pursuing Stella, he may miss the perfect match who may be right under his nose.  海子（吕梁 饰）是一名整日里游手好闲的待业青年，因为学历不高，所以他找不到什么正经的工作，这让海子的父亲耿柱（仲星火 饰）感到非常的焦虑。耿柱东奔西走，总算给海子找到了一份邮递员的工作，可是海子对待工作一点都不认真，经常送错邮件。一天，海子和自己曾经的好友肖彪（周里京 饰）重逢了，肖彪是一个非常上进和自律的男子，他的精神深深打动了海子，在肖彪的影响下，海子决定去英语夜校上课，可是依他的性格，这件事情最终半途而废。海子来到了肖彪兄妹经营的羊肉串摊，做起了帮工，并且和肖彪的妹妹相谈甚欢，这可气坏了耿柱。

　　Danny Rose（伍迪·艾伦 Woody Allen 饰）曾经是一个演员，后来成了一个百老汇的演出经纪人。他挖掘过不少有潜力的新人，但这些人后来都离开了他。最近，他又在力捧一个已婚的男歌手Lou Canova（Nick Apollo Forte 饰）。Lou和一个叫Tina（米亚·法罗 Mia Farrow 饰）有着婚外情。Danny帮Lou争取到了一次在Milton Berle面前的机会，这能够让Lou的事业更上一层楼。十分紧张的Lou要求Tina到时必须在场，并让Danny去把Tina带来并且伪装成Tina的男朋友。Danny找到Tina，却卷入了Tina和她的前男友的纠纷中。前男友认定是Danny抢走了Tina，于是让他的两个当打手的兄弟去报复Danny。Danny和Tina经过重重磨难终于到达演出现场，Lou的演出也十分成功。然而，Lou却在Tina的怂恿下准备离开Danny，投靠另一个经纪人......

　　田七（张达明 饰）是个精人，常喝醉打妻子当归（蔡少芬 饰），当归痛定思痛发誓要对夫报复，刚巧城中富商罗汉果欲寻名医，当归于是谎称丈夫会医术，并且要用精棍子揍田七，他才会应允他人治医，罗汉果信以为真，不但将田七痛打一顿，并将其接入家中，于是一场啼笑皆非的闹剧开始了……
